Wallington County Grammar School

Parents’/Carers’ Evenings

Each year group has a parents’ evening during the academic year, in which parents/carers and students are invited to spend time discussing their progress with their subject teachers.

The school uses an online system (https://wcgs.parentseveningsystem.co.uk/) to allow teachers to book appointments with any students they particularly need to have conversations about, and to allow parents to book appointments with the teachers they want to talk to. To ensure that parents logging on to the system slightly later on can still book appointments, a limit (normally eight) is set on the number of subjects which may be booked in the first instance. Although access is available to the online system throughout the year, a specific time is chosen to open bookings for parents and an email will be sent to notify that bookings are available; logging on before this will result in a message saying that the evening is ‘locked’. For more details on how to log on to the system, please read the information sheet here.
