Wallington County Grammar School

SIXTH FORM BRIDGING WORK

In order for students to best prepare for A-level studies and to ensure they are selecting the most suitable Key Stage 5 courses, compulsory Bridging Work must be completed in all subjects. For admission into Year 12 in September 2024, all students new to the school will be required to complete Bridging Work.

Bridging work tasks should take no more than 3–4 hours per subject.

All Year 12 students will need to bring in a hard copy of the work completed and ready for submission in their first lesson.

A reading list for all subjects is also provided at the bottom of each of the bridging work documents below. Where necessary, students will need to purchase these texts ahead of the start of the academic year; if this presents any financial challenge, please contact the Director of Sixth Form, Mrs Liz Jennings, by emailing the school's main email address: enquiries@wcgschool.co.uk
