Our heartfelt congratulations go out to the Upper Sixth who are collecting their A Level results today. Your achievements are remarkable with 67% of grades being at either A* or A. This has smashed our previous record of 64%, set in 2011, and you should be incredibly proud of reaching such a milestone. It is a clear demonstration of the values you held as a year group, in particular the way you helped and supported each other through your hardest moments. This triumph comes at a very sad time with the loss of Quillan O'Meara-McDonald, a much loved member of your year group until 2023, who tragically lost his life this summer in a car accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with Quillan's family and we will be thinking of them on such a significant day. We know that Quillan would have made them proud with his achievements.
